Sometimes the biggest upgrade is picking peace over winning an argument that doesn’t matter.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Being right and being better off are not the same thing, and plenty of arguments cost more to win than the point was ever worth. Stepping out of one is not conceding the fact. It is declining the price. Knowing which disputes actually matter arrives late for most people, and the energy saved goes somewhere better.
Before the next argument builds, ask what winning it would genuinely change. If the honest answer is nothing, let the other person have the last word. Notice how little you lose.
