Live so the people remembering you inherit more than photographs.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
What survives a person is mostly not their possessions or their record but their effect on other people: what they taught, how they treated others, what they made possible. That inheritance is built slowly and unglamorously in ordinary interactions, and it is largely invisible while you are producing it. This is not about legacy in any grand sense. It is about what people will actually carry.
Ask what one person would take from knowing you, and whether that is what you would want. Then do one thing this week that adds to it, whether that is teaching someone something or simply being reliably kind. It compounds without anyone tracking it.
What would people have of you besides pictures?
