Real character doesn’t check if anyone’s watching first. It doesn’t know there’s a camera.
STILLNESS
There is a version of good behavior that scans the room first, and it works fine right up until nobody is there. Genuine character is not calibrated to being observed, which means it operates the same way in an empty parking lot at night. The absence of that calculation is the whole distinction. It is also why it cannot be performed.
Notice whether you pause to check who is around before doing the right thing. The pause is what to work on, more than any single decision. Practise in the places nobody will ever ask you about.
Who are you when there is nobody around at all?
