REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Stated values are free and revealed values are expensive, which is why the second set is the one worth believing. What you spend money on, what you do when tired, what you look at when alone: together those form an accurate description of your priorities, assembled without your permission. Most gaps between the two are not hypocrisy so much as an honest mismatch nobody has checked.
Read last month’s spending and last week’s hours as though they belonged to a stranger. Ask what that person clearly cares about. Then change one small thing so the record matches what you would say out loud.
What would your last ten purchases say about your values?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
