In connected systems, the weak point determines the outcome for everything attached to it. One failing component, one unaddressed vulnerability, one person carrying too much, and the failure spreads to parts that were themselves in perfect condition. Strengthening the weakest point protects far more than itself.

Identify the single weakest link in something you depend on. Fix that rather than improving what is already strong. The return is disproportionate because everything downstream benefits.
