Time distortion is one of the few honest signals you get about yourself. Whatever holds you that completely is matching your attention to a difficulty you find worth meeting, and that match is rare enough to be worth noticing. It does not have to become a career to be information about how you are built.
Keep track for a week of when you lose the clock. Write the activity down each time, plainly, without judging whether it is useful. A pattern will show up, and it will tell you more about your direction than any careers questionnaire.
What activity swallows your afternoon without you checking the time?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
