Somewhere there’s a version of you who quit, and a version who finished. Only one of them gets to tell this story.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Two futures are genuinely available from here, and the difference between them is not talent or luck but whether you continue. The version who stopped has perfectly good reasons, all of which will sound sensible in the retelling, and will never find out what the other side of this looked like. The one who continues is the one who ends up with information.
When quitting appeals, distinguish between wanting to stop and wanting this particular week to be over. Take a break rather than a decision. Then continue, and let the finishing version be the one who gets to describe what happened.
What are you close to quitting that you would regret?
