Life isn’t a speedrun. Nobody gets bonus points for skipping the cutscenes.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Rushing assumes there is a score for finishing early, and there is not. The parts that get skipped in a hurry are usually the ones that make the rest mean anything: slow conversations, the years that look like nothing, the whole middle of things. Speed is only useful once you are sure where you are going.

Notice where you are hurrying out of habit rather than need. Let one thing this week take exactly as long as it takes. Being behind an imagined schedule is a feeling rather than a fact, and it rarely survives being looked at directly.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What do you skip because it feels like filler?
