Nobody’s born calm under pressure. The calm ones just logged more hours being uncomfortable.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Composure is an accumulated tolerance, built by being in unpleasant situations often enough that they stop registering as emergencies. People who look unshakeable have not avoided pressure. They have had more of it and grown used to the feeling, because the body learns by exposure rather than by reasoning. That is slow, and it is entirely available to you.

Put yourself somewhere slightly uncomfortable on purpose this week, small enough to survive and real enough to feel. Do it again the following week. The pattern matters more than the size of any single instance.

What situation still rattles you that repetition could make ordinary?
