You can watch a hundred videos about swimming and still sink.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Watching builds recognition, not ability. The part of you that learns to swim is not the part that understands swimming. It is the part that has been in the water, cold and clumsy, discovering what your body does when nothing is holding it up. Study can shorten the clumsy stretch, but nothing removes it.
Pick the thing you have been researching instead of doing, and give it twenty bad minutes this week. Expect to be worse than the videos made you feel. That gap closing is the whole of learning, and it only closes from the inside.
What have you researched endlessly and never actually attempted?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
