A lot of what looks closed has never actually been tested. You decide something is out of reach based on how it appears, walk away, and file it permanently under impossible without trying the handle. The assumption protects you from a small rejection and costs you the whole room behind it.

Name one thing you have quietly ruled out and go test it this week with the smallest possible attempt. Send the email, ask the question, apply anyway. A no takes five minutes to receive and ends a year of wondering.
