A good question stays with you longer than a good answer ever does.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Answers close a loop, and a closed loop stops being thought about. A real question keeps working in the background for weeks, quietly rearranging things, surfacing while you are doing something unrelated. That is why the people who changed how you think mostly asked you something rather than told you something.
When you want to help someone, resist the pull to hand over the conclusion you reached. Ask the thing you would want to be asked. And when a question lands on you and makes you uncomfortable, carry it for a week before resolving it. The discomfort is usually the sound of something moving.
