Whatever gets your attention gets your life, a few minutes at a time.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
A life is not decided in big moments as often as people think. It is assembled out of where your attention went in ten minute pieces, and those pieces do not feel like decisions while you are spending them. Nobody chooses to give a year to something. They give it four hundred small stretches and find out afterwards.
For three days, notice where the minutes actually go without trying to change anything. A rough honest account, not a strict log. Then look at the list and ask which items you would have chosen on purpose. Move one of them.
Where did your last three hours actually go?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
