Your first job is a chapter, not your whole book. Take notes and keep turning pages.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Early work is where you learn what work is: how people behave under pressure, what you can stand, what a bad system feels like from inside. None of that is wasted, even when the job itself is unremarkable or temporary. The mistake is treating it as a verdict on what you are capable of rather than as one section of a longer thing.
Keep an actual record while you are in it. What you learned, what you never want to repeat, who was good to work with. In two years that list will be worth more than the title.
How much of your first job will still matter later?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
