Roots don’t post updates. They just get deeper while everyone stares at the dirt.

The most structural work you do produces nothing worth showing. Depth accumulates where nobody is looking, and with no visible surface it reads to others, and often to you, as an empty patch of time. Everything that later holds you up was built during a stretch when it looked like nothing was happening.

Keep a plain record you do not share, a line a day about what you actually did. Let the work go unwitnessed for a while. Underground is not the same as behind.
