A thought doesn’t become more true just because you uploaded it. Some ideas need to marinate offline.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Publishing a thought early fixes it in place before it has finished forming. Once a position is stated in public you begin defending it instead of developing it, and the reactions arrive and pull it further from whatever you were actually working out. Ideas need a stretch where changing your mind costs nothing.
Keep the half formed ones somewhere private and let them sit for a few weeks. Argue against yourself in writing before anyone else gets the chance. Say it out loud once it has survived your own scrutiny rather than before.
How long do your ideas sit before you share them?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
