An opinion assembled from a distance is really an opinion about how something looks from a distance. Doing a thing badly for an hour gives you information no amount of watching will, what is actually hard about it, what it feels like, why people who do it care. Most confident dismissals come from people who never got their hands into it.

Try one thing this week that you have already decided is not for you. Do the beginner version, expect to be bad, and pay attention to what surprises you. You are allowed to still dislike it afterward, and then the opinion is yours.
