An hour of scrolling rarely fixes a knotted thought. Forty minutes of walking usually loosens it.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
A tangled thought needs different input, not more of the same. Scrolling occupies the exact part of you that would otherwise be working on the problem, so the knot stays and the time goes. Movement occupies the body instead and leaves the thinking free to loosen on its own.
When something will not resolve, try the longer and more boring option first. Walk with no destination and nothing in your ears. You are not trying to solve it while you walk, only giving it the room it has not had all day.
What have you scrolled at instead of walking it off?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
