Hungry, angry, tired: three states where you should never sign, send, or quit anything.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Your judgment runs on a body, and when the body is low the judgment gets loud and short. Hunger, anger and exhaustion all narrow what you can see to whatever feels most urgent right now. Decisions made in that narrow view tend to look strange by morning.
Build one rule you do not renegotiate: nothing final gets decided in those three states. Eat, sleep, or wait out the anger, then look again at the message, the resignation or the contract. If it still makes sense afterwards, you have lost nothing but a few hours.
What did you send while hungry, angry or half asleep?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
