Only a few people should have admin access to your life. Everyone else is a guest user.

REFLECTION
Access is something you grant, not something people are owed by proximity. Family, old friends and people who have simply been around a long time often have more say in your decisions than they have earned, mostly because nobody ever changed the setting. Long acquaintance and good judgment are separate qualities.
Think about whose opinion actually shifts what you do, and check that the list is one you would choose today. Some people move from deciding to advising, and some from advising to being told afterwards. None of this requires an argument, only a quieter adjustment on your side.
Who gets full access to your life without having earned it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
