Five years ago you wished for some of the things you have right now. Notice that.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
Wanting is quiet about what it has already received. The things you asked for a few years ago, the ones that felt out of reach, have mostly arrived and been absorbed into the background, because attention moves to whatever is still missing. Having is much harder to notice than wanting.
Think back to what you were hoping for at fifteen, or three years ago, and find the parts of it you now have. Sit with that for a moment rather than moving straight to the next thing. It does not mean stopping, it means letting some of the arriving land.
What do you have now that you once badly wanted?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
