The existence of a question is sometimes more fascinating than whichever answer eventually wins.

That a question can be asked at all is sometimes the more remarkable fact. Why there is something rather than nothing, whether other minds experience color as you do, what it means for a thing to be beautiful: the answers, when they come, are often narrower than the openings they closed. The question marks the point where your understanding meets its edge, and that edge is interesting in itself.
When you find a question that will not resolve, try being interested in its shape rather than impatient for its answer. Ask why it is hard to answer. That inquiry often teaches more than the resolution would have.
