Today counts as a full day in your life, even if you spent it doing nothing. Especially then.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
There is no reserve tank of days that do not count against the total. A day spent doing very little still spends, and a long run of them can pass without a single decision being made. That is not cause for guilt, since rest is real and necessary, but it is worth noticing the difference between a day you left empty on purpose and one that simply drained away.
At the end of today, ask which kind it was. If you chose it, let it be, with no self reproach attached. If you did not, pick one small thing tomorrow so the day has a shape.
How do you treat a day where you got nothing done?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
