Objects that mark achievement stop working fairly quickly. The feeling they carried belonged to a particular season and does not come back when you look at them. What keeps returning something is the set of people who were there, because those relationships go on doing things in your life long after the result stops mattering.

Message someone you went through something with, not to reminisce but just to talk. Keep the ones from the current season close while it is happening. The result will end up as a line in a record and they will not.
