Some mysteries deserve investigation without demanding that mystery disappear completely.

CREATIVITY
You can investigate something seriously without needing it fully solved. Insisting on complete resolution converts every open question into an irritation, and it rushes you toward answers that are tidier than the evidence. Real inquiry is comfortable leaving edges: this part is understood, this part is not yet, and the not yet is where the next work lives.
When you look into something, try noting explicitly what remains unknown at the end. Say it out loud or write it down. A conclusion that names its own limits is more useful than one that pretends to completeness, and it leaves you somewhere to return to.
Which unknown would you rather explore than finally settle?
