You don’t practice what you say you practice. You practice what you actually do on Tuesday night.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Stated intentions describe who you would like to be, and ordinary evenings describe who you are. The gap between them is where most disappointment lives, because a plan gets counted as a kind of down payment on the result. Nothing accumulates from the plan. It accumulates from the unremarkable hours nobody is watching.
Look back at last week honestly and list what actually filled those hours. Not the exceptions, the pattern. Then change one evening rather than the whole schedule, because a single repeating slot that holds is worth more than a full week that lasts nine days.
What did you actually do last Tuesday night?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
