You check other people for red flags. Ever run the scan on yourself?

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Evaluation runs outward by default, which means you carry a detailed list of what you would not tolerate and almost no equivalent list about yourself. The asymmetry is not vanity. You experience your own behavior as reasons and everyone else’s as actions, and only one of those ever gets judged.

Write down three things you would treat as warning signs in somebody else. Then check each honestly against your last few months. This is not an exercise in guilt, and one honest hit found early is far easier to change than one somebody else eventually names for you.
