The future is patient, but your lifetime is not.

The future will wait indefinitely for you to get to things. Your span will not, and the gap between those two facts is where most unfinished intentions live. There is always more future than there is life, so the constraint is never the availability of time in general. It is the availability of yours.

When something goes on the someday list, ask whether it has a realistic slot in the years you actually have. If not, either schedule it or let it go honestly. Both are better than carrying it indefinitely.
