The guitarist teaching neighborhood kids might shape more musicians than the one on tour.

LEADERSHIP
Reach and influence are not the same number. A tour puts you in front of thousands of people for one evening each. A teacher puts their hands on eleven kids for years, and a few of those kids go on to teach eleven more. The second number compounds quietly, with nobody keeping score.
Think about who actually changed how you do something. It is rarely the famous version of that job. If somebody like that exists in your life, tell them this week, and notice that the role is open to you at sixteen with no audience required.
Who taught you locally and shaped you more than any star?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
