You can be ambitious without being in a hurry. Most lasting things were built at a walking pace.

LEADERSHIP
Hurry and ambition get confused because both feel urgent, and they pull in opposite directions. Large things need years of consistent, unremarkable work, and rushing damages exactly that: you skip the dull foundations, burn out in month four, and restart from a worse position. A walking pace is not a lower setting on ambition. It is the pace that can be held long enough to arrive.
So size your effort to what you could still be doing in two years, not what you can manage this fortnight. Pick a weekly amount, make it almost embarrassingly small, then never miss it.
Where in your plans are you rushing for no real reason?
