The real flex is building something your friends actually use, not just like.

LEADERSHIP
Approval and use are completely different signals. People will say nice things about almost anything, because it is cheap and kind, whereas actually using something costs them time and attention, so they only do it when the thing works. One tells you about their manners. The other tells you about what you made.
So stop asking whether people like it and start counting whether they came back. Hand it to five friends and watch what they do over the following week without any prompting. If nobody uses it twice, that is the most useful information available, and far better to have now.
Has anyone used something you made, not just complimented it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
