Some ambitions are just loneliness in a nicer jacket. Make sure there’s room for people in the plan.

LEADERSHIP
Plenty of big goals are built to solve a feeling rather than to reach a place. When the real aim is to stop feeling overlooked, arriving tends not to fix it, because the achievement was never the problem in the first place. Ambition with no people in it often lands somewhere impressive and empty. Wanting company is not a weakness to be designed around.
Look at your plan and ask who is in it with you by name. If the answer is nobody, add somebody: a training partner, a friend to build with, a person who gets the Saturday. Plans with people in them also last longer.
Where do people fit inside the plan you are building?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
