Luck changes the result without changing the quality of the decision.

RESILIENCE
The quality of a decision is fixed at the moment you make it, and nothing that happens afterward reaches back to improve or spoil it. Chance changes the story you get to tell, the consequences you live with, and how other people rate you, but it does not touch the reasoning itself. Those are two separate ledgers.
Keep a rough record of why you chose what you chose on a few decisions that matter, before you know how they turn out. Reading it later teaches you more about your judgment than any outcome will.
