When you hit a goal, take a full day to enjoy it before you set the next one.
LEADERSHIP
LEADERSHIP
A full day is longer than it sounds, and that is the point. Marking something properly gives your body time to register that effort led somewhere, which is what makes the next stretch of effort believable. Rush past it and the achievement never lands, and you end up with a list of things you did and no sense of having done anything.
When the result comes in, block out the next day before you touch anything new. Sleep in, see people, eat something good, tell whoever was waiting with you. The next goal will still be there the following morning.
When did you last give yourself a whole day to celebrate?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
