You choose your effort, not always your result. Choose the effort anyway.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Results are built out of things you control and things you do not: other people, timing, luck, who else showed up that day. Effort is the part with your name on it, and it stays yours regardless of how the rest falls. This is not a consolation prize. It is the only input available to you, which makes it the only sensible place to put your attention.
Define success for the next week as something you can do rather than something that has to happen: the sessions, the pages, the applications sent. Judge yourself on those. Treat the outcomes as information when they arrive.
Where have you cut your effort because the result looked unlikely?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
