A good idea at the wrong size fails. Shrink it, test it, then grow it.

Scale is part of an idea, not a separate decision about it. A thought that works as a two minute song can collapse as an album, and a plan that would be fine as a weekend experiment becomes unmanageable across a year. When something good fails, the concept often was not wrong, the container was. Finding the right size is most of what developing an idea actually means.
Build the smallest version that still tests the real question. Only grow it once the small one works. If it stops working as it gets bigger, go back to the size where it did and find out what changed.
