Nobody gets good at drawing hands by avoiding drawing hands.

What you dodge stays hard forever, and the dodging is what keeps it hard. Hands are difficult, so people hide them in pockets, crop them out, draw figures from the elbow up, and two years later they are exactly as bad at hands as when they started. Difficulty does not wear off through time. It wears off through repetitions you did not enjoy.
Name the one thing you keep arranging your work to avoid. Then do twenty small bad versions of just that thing, with no plan to show anyone. Twenty is usually enough to move it from impossible to merely annoying, and annoying is a workable place to be.
What part of your craft do you route around every time?
