Good dog trainers end every session on a win, even a tiny one. Leave people wanting to come back.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Ending on something that went well is not flattery; it is how anybody stays willing to come back. A session that ends in frustration teaches that trying feels bad, and that lesson outlasts whatever you were working on. Finishing on a small win leaves the door open instead. Dogs, younger siblings and teammates all learn that way, and so do you.

Next time you help someone practise anything, choose the last repetition deliberately. Go back to something they can already do and stop there. Try the same at the end of your own study block.
