RESILIENCE
Good enough is not a free pass; it is a trade, and somebody absorbs the difference. Sometimes that is fine and the work genuinely does not need more. Sometimes the cost lands on a teammate who redoes it, a customer who gets the sad cup, or you in a month when the shortcut reappears. The phrase is handy because it hides the question of who pays.
When you are about to settle, name the person carrying the gap. If it is nobody, stop and move on with a clear conscience. If it is somebody else, spend the extra ten minutes.
