More tools can create more work when each tool requires its own maintenance.

Every tool carries an ongoing cost. Setup, upkeep, learning it, keeping it current, and the small tax of remembering which one holds what. Add enough of them and the effort of managing the tools starts to exceed what they were meant to save, without any single addition being unreasonable.

Count what you are currently maintaining. Remove one, and combine two if you can. Fewer tools used properly beats more tools used partially, almost always.
