Don’t save all your effort for the graded parts. The ungraded parts are where habits get built.

RESILIENCE
Habits form in the parts nobody scores. If your effort only appears where marks are attached, the standard you are actually practising is the low one, and that is the version that turns up on the day you are tired or nobody is checking. Ungraded work is where your default gets set. Marks measure a moment; habits decide the year.
Pick one ungraded thing this week and do it properly: the reading, the warm-up, the practice set nobody collects. See whether the graded work gets easier afterwards. It usually does, because you are no longer starting from nothing.
