God isn’t grading your prayers for grammar. The mumbled ones get through fine.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

School taught you that everything gets marked, and you have quietly applied that to a place where there is no rubric. So you tidy the phrasing, drop the clumsy bits, and often say nothing at all because you cannot get the wording right. Fluency was never the requirement. What comes out mumbled, in the wrong order, half-finished, arrives in exactly the same condition as anything polished.

Say the ugly version this week. Stop halfway through a sentence if that is where it ends, and leave the grammar alone.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What have you left unsaid because you could not phrase it well?

Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
