Visiting the person nobody visits is ministry, even without a title.

Attention given where there is no audience and no role is still the whole job. You do not need a position to do the work of noticing somebody. The person nobody visits is usually not missed because they are disliked, but because missing them costs nobody any effort. Showing up does not require you to be qualified or appointed.

Think of the one person you have said you should check on and never did. Go this week, or call. Ten minutes of real company is worth more than a well meant plan you keep postponing to a better week.
