Lazarus’s sister told Jesus He was too late. He wasn’t.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
Said straight to his face, with no softening: you could have come and you did not. The story does not treat that as impertinence. It lets the accusation stand, because it was fair from where she stood, and because being honest about a delay is not giving up on the person who was late. What she could not see yet was the timescale.
If you are angry about timing, say it as plainly as she did, to whoever it concerns. You do not have to tidy it into something more acceptable. And give the ending longer than you want to, since you are still inside it.
What have you given up on as being past saving?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
