Self-surveillance keeps an archive nobody asked for. You can rehearse a thing you did at fourteen with full lighting and sound, years after everyone else involved has forgotten it, and call that taking responsibility. It is not. Responsibility is making it right once and then letting the file close, and the rereading does no work at all beyond keeping you small.

When the replay starts this week, notice it and put it down. If something can still be repaired, repair it. If it cannot, stop opening it.
