Somebody believed in you before you had any stats. Remember who, and tell them.

GRATITUDE
Belief that arrives after the evidence is cheap. Anyone can back you once there are results; the valuable version came from somebody who had nothing to go on and decided anyway. Those people rarely find out whether they were right.
Work out who it was, and be specific when you tell them, since the detail is what makes it believable. A coach, a teacher, an aunt, a manager at a first job. Send it this week rather than saving it for when you have something bigger to report, because the message is about them, not your results.
Who should hear that their early belief in you worked?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
