Remember the coworker who trained you without making you feel stupid. Be that person next.

GRATITUDE
Teaching somebody badly is easy and faintly satisfying, because explaining from a height makes you feel competent. Doing it the other way takes patience and costs you that small pleasure. Whoever trained you without the sighing and the shortcuts was choosing your comfort over their own convenience, during a shift they were already busy in. That is a decision made repeatedly, not a personality.
Once the next new person turns up at your job or your team, be the one who explains it twice without comment. Show them where things are before they have to ask. You know what it was worth.
