Shelter only registers when the weather is bad. Rain is pleasant from the dry side of a window and miserable from the other, and the difference is not the rain; it is a roof somebody built and somebody pays for. Plenty of people do not have the dry side tonight. Noticing that is not guilt, it is accuracy about what you are listening to.

When it rains this week, stop and listen for a minute from where you are warm. Then find out what your town does for people who are outside in it, and do one small thing in that direction.
