The person who fixed the slides at 1 a.m. deserves their name said out loud.

Invisible work has a habit of becoming nobody’s work. The version everybody sees is the finished one, so the hours spent making it finished disappear unless somebody says them out loud. Naming the person costs you nothing and changes two things at once: they find out it was noticed, and everyone else learns that effort gets registered here.
Say the name in the room, not in a private message afterwards, and be specific about what they did. One sentence is plenty. Do it for the person whose contribution nobody would have guessed at.
