Not every question deserves an answer simply because somebody asked it confidently.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Confidence in a question does not create an obligation to answer it. People ask about money, plans, health, and relationships in a tone that assumes entitlement, and the tone alone makes many people answer against their own judgment. The social pressure is real and it does not change what you owe. A question is a request, not a summons.
Have a short, warm deflection ready so you are not composing one under pressure. Something like preferring not to get into it, then a change of subject. Practicing it once means it comes out easily the next time.
Which question did you answer only because it was asked firmly?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
